Discovery Parks - Darwin

Park is located near airport but don't let that put you off. I had no problems sleeping at night. Yes you get the occasional plane etc but I never noticed any inside van in evening/night. I would suggest you check if military exercises on as the one time military Jets took off they were LOUD. This was during the day though. The location is very convenient to everything in Darwin. Park is clean and tidy and amenities were fine. Minor issue with shower head once and temp needs adjusting often .Staff helpful. Washing machines work ok. Not a lot of shade trees but that just means more awnings out. Price was on high side and I think that is why the park wasn't full. Saying that though it had everything I needed for eight nights. I would stay again. There is also a coffee van that rocks up at 9.30 on week days

Nice park but expensive compared to others around, we stayed here just to be closer to the city, the pool water was so cold so really wasn’t enjoyable to be in but so nice to sit around! They have a gym on site which we only seen on the map the night before we were leaving, wish this was mentioned to us on check in! Other than that staff were so helpful! The park is right in the flight path beside the airport so the plans are still quite low making them very noisy they run through the night too, we were in a tent so this may have been worse for this reason! Overall nice park and close to the city!

A smaller room than last visit, didn't feel right bed directly in front of the door so after rearranging the room around a little, it was alot more cosy & comfortable. Besides that it was lovely, cool and clean on arrival. Advertised with balcony, unfortunately it wasn't a balcony. Not enough tea n coffee for 2 nights either which bit of a bummer. Overall it once again was a nice place to stay, friendly staff on arrival, peaceful, comfortable and we would recommend

Closest holiday park to Darwin, huge, lots f families. Good amenities, pools, good sites. Downsides are: no proper wifi, location (industrial area without any supermarkets or restaurants) and the price. It’s crazy expensive and doesn’t even offer real wifi. But you don’t really have a choice I guess 😕 Update: Laundry is getting more dirty in the washing machine than it was before. So don’t use them. Staff didn’t care about it 🤷🏼‍♂️ They turn off the water in the park without prior warning. Bathroom are closed for cleaning around 9am 🤦🏼‍♂️ That makes it the most expansive and worst managed campsite we’ve ever been to
